Junior 1000 Ecosse Challenge
Rallying for 14 to 17 year olds
Who can co-drive for me?
There are strict rules about who is permitted to co-drive.
A co-driver must be at least 21 years old and meet the qualifications of a Motorsport UK RS National - Stage Rally or higher grade competition licence. They must also be child safeguarding accredited - this requires registration in the PVG Scheme in Scotland. The PVG registration will be organised by the Championship.
Parents (or Guardians) are not permitted to co-drive for their children but they could co-drive for other Juniors if they qualify. Brothers and sisters are able to co-drive for Junior drivers provided they meet all the other requirements.
Drivers can recruit their own co-driver or ask the Championship for help in finding one.
Co-drivers do not pay a registration fee but they must be registered for the Championship.
If you are an experienced driver or co-driver and would like to get involved, please get in touch with the Co-ordinator.
